The memorial service for my dad will be Wednesday, March 23, at 2pm at Christ Memorial Church (Gateway Fellowship) in Poulsbo.
We welcome any notes or cards of memories, words of encouragement, or ways he impacted your life. Feel free to send them to us before the service, or there will be a basket at the memorial for you to place them into.
More stories to come on the blog about how God has been with us through this journey today. God is Good!

Only this morning did Linda and I hear that Marc was battling ALS, as we moved away from the Kitsap area in 2006 ... so we were even more shocked to hear that he passed today. What a great man, a great neighbor for many years, and a great loss to the Poulsbo Community. Our thoughts are with you, and we hope to make the Memorial Service! We are so saddened by his passing.
God was honored and glorified in Marcs life, and He is glorified in his passing from this life to eternity in the Presence of God Almighty....What a legacy Marc has left behind. May we grasp what he knew of Jesus and His love.
In one of the darkest times of my life, Pastor Marc was there. He was true friend to so many.
Jesus, All For Jesus - I cannot and I will not ever ever listen to that song for the rest of my life without thinking about Marc Pearson. I have 30+ years of memories with that man who Jesus used to shape me into the person I am today. It seems selfish to write of any loss I would experience - let his family express that. My loss is heaven's gain on this day of days. Marc - I so look forward to seeing you on the other side. Hugs all around. Jim Oas

I just read that Marc has gone to be with the Lord. I am so sad for all of you and for all of us who love him, but I am so happy for him. I can just see him with his beautiful smile being in the presence of the Savior he loved so much in life. He was such a wonderful pastor for all the years that we went to Christ Memorial. He was a man of integrity. His positive attitude about everything impacted many of us. And he taught us so much from God's word. He is reaping his reward. He built up many treasures that are his now in heaven. We love you Pastor Marc and we love you Pearsons. I haven't checked the site for a while, so I missed the latest posts. I'm sorry we missed the service; we would have loved to be there for you. We have very fond memories of all of you--and there are certain 'Marc' memories we treasure! May God give you rest and peace as you journey through this transition time.
