Face to Face with the Lord

Marc passed away just before 10:00 this morning. Most of the immediate family was there at the time and God was faithful to answer our most ferverent prayer that his passing would be without stuggle.

During this time, we ask that you would give the family space by refraining from phone calls, visit and such. We know that you are such a giving people and want to help give back to someone who has given so much. Feel free to send a note in the mail, or post a note on Facebook.

If you are one that is inclined to want to purchase flowers for the family, we ask that you would honor Marc and us by giving to the organization that he helped start called Finishing The Task, which has a goal to introduce Jesus to tribes and cultures that have never heard the name of Jesus.

You can give via the link below and will need to designate your missions giving as, "FTT." You can also drop a gift off at the church office at the giving kiosk or in our church services.

We are doing well. We are glad dad's struggle is over, and we know he is in a much better place...face to face with the Lord.

We will continue to post information on this blog.

I love you all! Praying for all of you during this time. Marc taught me so much in the short time that I knew him. He was God's ambassador to the lost and broken. Many came to know Christ because of Marc- His legacy will continue on forever! May God surround you all with his Love now and forever!

JP and family, Michelle and Mario and family, Melissa, and Carol, we are praising God today, and continue to keep you in our prayers. Colleen called to tell me. We cried when she said, "Who will marry me , mom? I wanted Pastor Marc!" We want to offer you our deepest sympathy, and thank you for sharing Marc with us all those years! Before we hung up we remembered all the times Pastor praised her, wanting to know how she was, including putting stickers on her face and helping her accomplish so much at 2. We are so excited he is in His presence and released from this body, and look forward to the time we all see Jesus. Marc you are home!

Pearson Family - You are in my prayers after hearing of Marc's passing. It's been many, many years since I have seen or spoken with any of you, but know I have often thought of your family through the years. Blessings to you as you celebrate his life.

I am lifting each of you; Carol, Missy, JP, Rhea, Michelle, Mario and Ethan in my prayers. As many of us are thanking your Dad, remembering fondly the ways he was the feet, hands, words and actions of Christ in our lives, I think of the many who greeted him today to say Thank you and most of all God, who welcomed him and said "well done my good and faithful son, in you I am well pleased." I also acknowledge the heartache and pain that comes with grief. May you find encouragement in knowing prayers of peace, encouragement, comfort, strength, endurance and love are being said for each of you. May you know we are joining you in mourning with the same breath that we celebrate your Dad going home to Heaven, to no more pain and suffering and the pure presence of the Lord. May you feel God's Love enveloping each of you and sustaining you today and in the days ahead.

Please know you that your family is in Bev and my prayers. No more pain for Marc, but we know even as you rejoice that he is "Face to Face with his Lord and Savior", there is a tremendous personal loss.

Michelle and Mario,

Please know I'm sending love and lots of prayers to you and your family. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Even though I did not know you father personally, through meeting you, I can see that you were raised in a loving and warm family. It is obvious that you were very fortunate to have such a fine man as your father and role model as you grew into the person you are today.

Much love,

Marcia White

Dear Carol, JP, Michelle, Missy, and all who loved Marc,

"And I'll rise when He calls my name, no more sorrow, no more pain." Those powerful words of a Christian song have been fullfilled in Marc today. God called his name and he is now is at home with the Lord. I always felt blessed when in your home by your faith and gentle testimony to hope of life eternal. May each of you find comfort in that hope and faith. I will see you when I return to the states, but unfortunately I will not be there for the service. <><, Nurse Mary

Our prayers are with you all. I can only imagine what Pastor Marc is doing right now and what a celebration is going on in heaven. He has been such a blessing in so many lives. He will be sincerely missed by so many, but none more than all of you. I pray for God's strength and peace to surround you and carry you through this time. All our love, David and Peggy Stanley

Dear Carol and family, I just found out this morning while attending service at the NK Baptist church. You were in our prayers.
I thank God so much for placing Marc in my life. He was one of the few who helped me through difficult times. I will miss him dearly, but he will remain in my heart forever.
God give you comfort and peace through this difficult time. Love and hugs. Huguette
