My son JP and I went to my three-month check-up at the Univ of WA Med Center - ALS Center yesterday. The #1 issue they check is respiration/breathing. #2 is the ability to swallow. These are the critical issues.
I took a computerized breathing test again. They want to see what my lung capacity is. The maximum is 100, and anything 80 and above is considered normal. I scored 95, the same as six months ago! And, my ability to swallow remains at 100%. Praise God.
Thanks for your ongoing prayers, love, and awesome support.

Dear Marc, It's so great to read your blog and know that God has you firmly in his hands! Your attitude is such an encouragement. Thanks for being an example to us all the way over here in the Basque Country.
Blessings brother, Chris and Megan.
We do serve an awesome God!
You are such an inspiration and a witness and example to others of living each day, regardless of present circumstances, in faith, love, hope, and joy!

Marc,
Its been said that "A Crisis makes a man". Well, I don't believe that. I believe that "A Crisis reveals a man." Marc, you have demonstrated that you are indeed a man of integrity and faith in times of crisis. Your attitude determines your altitude. It's nice to see you way up there.
Your Friend,

Great to hear the news. I guess that you will be nearly ready to go for your next check up. We continue to pray for you and will be praying specifically in our prayer meeting tomorrow night, 8th April. Love you lots and the family.
